I just think that was an amazing piece of detail they threw in there, and of course that one quest with the Irish noble woman, who was protected by warriors with wolf skins. Then from time to time you would get actual historical information about certain places like the stone circles, or abandoned Roman villas. And my God, the music was fantastic and it just helped to bring across that rough feel of the game, but rough in a positive way. The atmosphere was dark, moist and there was just something to it that really immersed me. There was something about the atmosphere of that DLC that pulled me in like very few games. ![]() I'll mention the 2 elements that really made me remember that DLC and in general have lots of fun, Immersion and Progression. I remember buying Warband because of Viking Conquest and I remember that I, as a history enthusiast, really appreciated every single detail I could spot. ![]() Can we all just stop for a second to appreciate how GOOD Viking Conquest was?
